A networking cheese and wine evening organised by Wootton Bassett Chamber of Commerce gave more than 40 guests the chance to mix business with pleasure.
The event was held at Delicias café and wine bar.
Representatives from local Police attended to talk about a new crime initiative in which businesses are being encouraged to participate.More details are to be given at a meeting planned later this month.
Event sponsor Mark Trenfield, of mlettings, welcomed guests. He said: "Only two per cent of small businesses attend and understand the power of business networking events, yet theygenerate 80 per cent of their income from customers within a 10 mile radius of where they are based.
"Networking events, such as this are a great forum for small businesses to meet like-minded individuals and create relationships that will deliver mutual benefits."
