Photographs of Gambian skylines were auctioned during the Wessex Business Breakfast, raising £230 for the Jole Rider's Bikes4Africa programme which refurbishes bikes for use by Africa children.

Students from Abbeyfield School, Chippenham engaged the auctioneering skills of Kit Harding, of the rural and country property division of Dreweatt Neate.

Sixth formers Katrina Howard and Oliver Boaler, who are both members of Abbeyfield's Young Chamber, displayed and described the photographs, taken on a visit to the Maahad Senior Secondary School in The Gambia, with which Abbeyfield is linked.

Before the 125 guests tucked into their cooked breakfast they heard from Chris da Costa, landlord of Heywood House, near Westbury, about the office space available in the mansion house.

The outbuildings are already occupied and now office suites from 387 sq ft to 2,779 sq ft, or the whole building (10,000 sq ft) can be taken.

Guest speaker at the breakfast was Lord Ian McLaurin, former chairman of Tesco and Vodafone and chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
