Thames Valley businesses will address the major issues impacting upon Slough's property and construction sector, at the Slough Property Forum's quarterly meeting, to be held at Landmark Place, Slough on May 28.
The Slough Property Forum's objectives are very much focused on the construction and property industry, within its widest remit.
The Group also offers a forum for professionals with interests in the Slough area to network and keep up-to-date with the latest legislation, planning and proposals.

This meeting will see Paul Nash, director of rating at Lambert Smith Hampton, present on the changes of the empty rate regulations, which came into effect on April 1 and are likely to result in an annual increase from this property tax, in order of £1bn.
He will discuss what the changes are, the reasoning behind them, how to minimise their impact and their effect on the forthcoming 2010 revaluation.
Furthermore, Martin Gibbons of Vital Energy will discuss Energy Performance Certificates. The Government made a hash of the introduction of Home Information Packs in 2007 and the same now appears to be happening with Energy Performance Certificates for commercial property.
At this forum attendees will learn how this new 2008 legislation will impact on both.
