Swindon IT company Emnico Technologies has delivered Swindon Town’s Football In The Community Trust an entire range of technological solutions.
With an ageing IT network and a website administered by a third party, Football In The Community wanted to bring its technology right up to date, in line with the coaching services it provides.
Emnico worked with the trust to understand how it works to ensure that the right solution was implemented.
As a registered charity, Football In The Community was able to use Emnico’s experience in working in the not-for-profit sector to ensure it got the best solutions within its budget.
Darren Beggan, of Emnico, pictured right, said: “This is a fantastic community project.
“We have improved every aspect of their IT and given them a range of internet marketing tools without breaking the bank.”
Scheme manager Jon Holloway, pictured left, said: “Having achieved the new Football League Silver Standard Community Scheme status, we are continuously looking at how we can deliver the highest standard of coaching to everyone across the community.
“Technology has become an important part in how we can become more efficient in delivering our message to improve on what we do. Emnico have really improved everything and we look forward to continue working with them.”
Football In The Community can be contacted on 01793 421303.
Emnico has also launched a partnership with Remploy e-cycle to address the needs of local organisations which want to dispose of old or redundant IT equipment in a safe and secure way.
It is part of Emnico’s service to support a sustainable environment and being socially responsible.
Darren said: “As a provider of IT services we are aware of the amount of redundant IT equipment taking up valuable office space.
“Businesses are concerned about sensitive data falling into the wrong hands and their legal responsibilities for the safe disposal of their IT equipment, but do not know how to overcome this.”
National sales manager Chris Sutton said: “Remploy e-cycle, through its employment of people with disabilities, is committed to extending its comprehensive range of services to the local area through Emnico Technologies.”
