Vygon UK moves to South Cerney
Whitmarsh Lockhart has successfully pre-let Drake House, Lakeside Business Park, South Cerney, to Vygon UK, which has taken a new five-year lease.
Vygon makes disposable medical products and Drake House is a detached 17,000ft warehouse and distribution facility which forms part of the latest phase of development at Lakeside Business Park.
This letting continues with the success on the park, following the completion of the sale of Phase I, a 23,000ft facility to Nexus in 2007.
The high quality development of industrial warehouse units is situated a mile west of the A419, in close proximity to Cirencester and is proving popular with Cirencester occupiers.
There are other new units currently being completed in Bittern House which is made up of seven individual units.
Three of these are currently under offer and there is strong interest in the remaining units.
There is also the opportunity with Phase III under way to take a detached or semi-detached unit ranging from 7,000 - 15,000ft.
Ralph Wells, the associate partner and head of the industrial agency team, said: "This letting to Vygon proves there is strong interest in the Cirencester market, which is primarily due to the lack of stock.
"It shows South Cerney is a more than credible alternative for occupiers looking to come out of Cirencester.
"The unit was of particular interest to Vygon due to the nature of their business and poor quality secondhand buildings which would not have worked for them."
Remaining units on the site are available from 1,170ft up to 15,000ft. Call 01793 541000, or email ralph@whitmarshlockhart.com.
