Jobs go at Newsquest
Newsquest Wiltshire, the parent company of the Swindon Advertiser, has announced that 13 jobs in the company's advertising design department will be made redundant.
Some of the work will be transferred to a third party company with operations in India.
Mark Suddaby, managing director of Newsquest Wiltshire, said: "This decision has been made as a result of major investment in the company's computer systems and in order to reduce costs.
"This will enable us to continue to develop our newspapers and websites for the benefit of our local readers and advertisers."
