| David Court: Here to help and protect |
WHEN we have an accident it can be difficult to prove that you weren't at fault.
Even if it does get as far as court you could face a lengthy and costly procedure and still come away the loser.
DRC Accident Investigations has now launched in Swindon and aims to helps accident victims claim the compensation they deserve.
DRC Accident Investigations specialises in investigating all types of accidents where a claim for compensation has been made or may be made in the future.
"An accident is an unplanned or uncontrolled event which can result in damage to property and personal injury because of the actions or inaction of someone else," says investigator David Court.
The 53-year-old from Calne, pictured, has almost 30 years of investigation experience after working as a senior investigator for the RAF.
DRC Accident Investi-gations covers traffic collisions, slips, trips or falls, accidents at work, holiday claims at home or abroad and clinical negligence.
"People don't realise that if they have had an accident that is not their fault they can be entitled to compensation," said David.
"Equally, those who are being blamed for an accident they don't believe to be their fault can have difficulty proving it.
"That is where DRC Accident Investigations comes in.
"I will take photos of the accident scene, be it at work, on the road or in a public space and take statements from those directly involved, as well as any named witnesses."
The findings of the investigations will then be handed to personal injury solicitors who will use it to prove either a third party was at fault or that their client wasn't.
David will also work for haulage, taxis or private hire fleets investigating accidents that occur on the road, as well as for insurance companies or solicitors looking into fraudulent claims.
DRC Accident Investi -gations travels to accident scenes across Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset and Gloucestershire.
