It won't be much consolation to the advertiser but I love that ad showing a range of people telling us that they are on the net (it is no consolation as I am not entirely sure what brand is being advertised). I love the Deepak Chopra piece when he emphasises that we are human beings, not human doings (which brings an entirely different image to my mind).

So, how are those resolutions going? It’s already January 5th so I imagine that some have fallen by the wayside already, others will have been breached only to create a new resolve. Some, perhaps the minority, will have been scrupulously maintained.

It’s The Thought That Counts

As Christmas approaches I am reminded of the phrase “it’s the thought that counts;” it brings to mind those moments as a child when it was the only “consolation” for some present or other destined for the darkest recesses of an infrequently opened cupboard.
